I didn’t grow up seeing a chiropractor, and honestly, I was a former skeptic. I suffered from migraine headaches for years and years and tried many different things to get rid of them without any real success.
When my husband and I starting dating, he suggested I go see his chiropractor. I was very apprehensive and wasn’t sure or educated on what a chiropractor could do to help me.
To make a long story short, I decided to go. After just two adjustments, I was relieved of migraines and it completely changed my life! After learning more about why I was experiencing migraines and that the top vertebrae in my neck being misaligned was the culprit, I was left inspired, intrigued and wanting to know more.
My chiropractor taught me a few fundamental premises about chiropractic. The one that hit home and made me realize I found my calling was that the body is meant to heal itself. It’s as simple as that. If interference within the nervous system is removed by getting adjusted, the body will HEAL itself. I loved that chiropractic facilitated God’s innately given healing capacity that allows the body to function more efficiently in a natural way.
I got a job as a chiropractic assistant and worked there for almost 3 years through the remainder of college. During that time, all that I had experienced and the lives I saw changed, including my own, made me rethink what I wanted to do as a career, so I followed my heart and attended chiropractic school.
I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Biological Science and minor in Microbiology. In 2015, I received my Doctorate of Chiropractic degree with an additional B.S. in Health and Wellness from Parker University in Dallas, TX. Currently, I am a member of the American Pregnancy Association, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and is Webster Certified through the ICPA.
Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to help people. As a chiropractor, I feel incredibly blessed everyday to be able to help others function better and increase their wellness. I am passionate about serving pregnant women and children but thoroughly enjoy caring for the whole family. My main goal is to ensure my patients feel comfortable, heard and enjoy their experience along with educating them on chiropractic, living a healthy lifestyle and how regular self-care enhances overall wellness and quality of life. I use a variety of techniques to best suit each patient’s needs.
Personally, my husband Peter and I have lived in Frisco since 2012. Peter is a co-owner in charge of Design + Construction at Pure Design, a company focusing on swimming pools, spas and outdoor living environments.
We just had a baby boy, Otto and are completely in love. I never knew someone so small could bring so much joy and love to my life. We also have an 11-year-old Siberian husky named Poc and an orange tabby cat named Guillermo, who make an adorable dog-cat best friend duo.
We strive to live a healthy lifestyle including regular adjustments, a balanced diet, exercise and enjoying life to the fullest! We love spending time with our family and friends, traveling as much as we can, reading, skiing, and anything outdoors or spontaneous.
I am happy and honored to be serving Frisco and the surrounding communities. I look forward to meeting you in person and learning what I can do to help you.
